Something's coming, something's there, something from anywhere Something old, something cold, something just lying there. Something spins, something folds, something takes the air. Something seals, something steals, something lays bare. Something heals, something cures, something raises higher. Something's wrong, something stirs, something fans the fire. If I could find a way to keep the pawns all in play, but it all fades away. Nothing really matters, nothing works. Nothing comes from nothing, nothing hurts. Nothing ventured, something gained, nothing prized. Nothing open doors, something steps inside. If I could find a way to keep the pawns all in play, until we all fade away. Nothing asks for nothing, something more. Nothing looks for something, something sets the score. Something takes the tooth, nothing locks the door. Something looks for truth, nothing asks, "what for?" If I could find a way to keep the pawns all in play, while we all fade away.

about

All of these pieces started in Gregg's head. Demos got recorded and sent to Tom and Bill- 1600 miles away. They added their bits and sent those back. Gregg told them to do them again...No. But things morphed quite a bit on the way to final mixes: some things got added, others cut. The three of us played together before Gregg moved to Maine, which probably helped us a lot! The pieces are quite varied, but somehow go together. A lot of different influences come through. Our number one criteria was, "does it make us smile".
Hope you enjoy.

Radar's Hand

Radar's Hand is Tom Burke (bass), Bill Kiser (drums), and Gregg Pannier (keys, guitars, vocals). These three worked together in the 90s in the Prog outfit Relayer before Gregg moved to Maine (Tom and Bill are still with the group- awesome stuff). Gregg had a backlog of material to produce, and the boys from Illinois stepped up to help. Producing music remotely isn't easy, but it's rewarding! ... more
