Something's coming,
something's there,
something from anywhere
Something old,
something cold,
something just lying there.
Something spins,
something folds,
something takes the air.
Something seals,
something steals,
something lays bare.
Something heals,
something cures,
something raises higher.
Something's wrong,
something stirs,
something fans the fire.
If I could find a way
to keep the pawns all in play,
but it all fades away.
Nothing really matters,
nothing works.
Nothing comes from nothing,
nothing hurts.
Nothing ventured,
something gained,
nothing prized.
Nothing open doors,
something steps inside.
If I could find a way
to keep the pawns all in play,
until we all fade away.
Nothing asks for nothing,
something more.
Nothing looks for something,
something sets the score.
Something takes the tooth,
nothing locks the door.
Something looks for truth,
nothing asks, "what for?"
If I could find a way
to keep the pawns all in play,
while we all fade away.

Gregg had a backlog of material to produce, and the boys from Illinois stepped up to help. Producing music remotely isn't easy, but it's rewarding! ... more
